April is here, some of the earliest flowers are starting to appear in the garden, and we're already hard at work preparing for what is hoped to be a fruitful gardening season. As usual, there are a few things we'd like you to know as the season begins.

Garden prep day and new member orientation

We're excited to, once again, host our annual garden prep day. This year's prep day is April 13th. We'll get together starting at 10 am and the day will continue for as long as members want to stay. We hope to see everyone there! 

New Member Orientation

A new member orientation will take place on April 14th at 10am. All new members are asked to attend so they can receive an overview of garden rules, learn where their plot is, and ask any questions about the upcoming year. If someone needs access to their plot before their orientation or in time for the April 13th prep day, please reach out to us and we'll do our best to help. Our goal is to make this as easy as possible on everyone but our board members are volunteers and do have their own time contraints to manage around.

Volunteer needs and tracking form

Each year, there is a four-hour volunteer requirement for members who want to remain in good standing at the garden. This requirement can be met by the gardener or by any member of their family. Eligible activities include weeding in the common areas and helping with repairs as needed. Follow the link below to log your hours for the 2024 season!
