About Us
Kenosha Farm Community Garden
is a non-profit, local, volunteer-based organization that aims to provide Erie residents with beautiful outdoor places to learn about, cultivate and celebrate nature.
Through our gardens, Erie residents will gain access to fresh organic vegetables, and will experience the satisfaction of creating and sharing a bountiful harvest.
Through our organization, Erie residents will enjoy wholesome interaction with people of all ages and backgrounds, developing friendships and pride in our community.
Facilities
In addition to 6800 square feet of rentable, amended Garden Plots, easy-access water Spigots, Compost Bins and a Storage Shed, the facility features a Shaded Picnic Area with three tables and umbrellas.
Starting in 2019, the Gardens will be available for educational programming through the Town of Erie recreation center. Plans are in the works for raised garden beds in the central gathering area to accommodate gardeners with disabilities.
